Ashanti Altovese, founder of the Dancesport Divas, competed at the 2011 Latin Fever Fridays Annual Footwork Competition at the Beat Studios in Berkeley, CA. The event, hosted by the directors of the Afinkao Dance Company, JC and Tellina, was well attended and brought out some of the best dancers in the San Francisco Bay area. Ashanti received 3rd place for her competition performance and won free attendance to a dance workshop by Ana Masacote of Boston. Check out her performance on the Ashanti Altovese Videos 2 page.
