Ashanti Altovese, founder of the Dancesport Divas dance program and performance team, was invited to perform on the local cable television program "Under SF" in May 2011. This unique program is produced by the students and staff at the University of California San Francisco Creative Arts Department and highlights various topics and events relevant in the San Francisco Bay area. The episode, which was presented in a talent show format, showcased top dancers from the Bay area and represented the dance genres of Ballet, Erotic/Burlesque dance, Flamenco, Hip Hop, and Modern dance. During the program, the hosts interviewed Ashanti regarding her technical background and entrepreneurial endeavors. After the discussion, Ashanti performed an Erotic/Burlesque dance as "The Erotic Goddess" to "Don't Look Back" by My Scarlet Life. Check out her performance on the Ashanti Altovese Videos 2 page.
