The Dancesport Divas, directed by Ashanti Altovese, were invited to perform at the 2010 US Salsa Open Welcome Party at Cafe Cocomo in San Francisco and Competition at the Oakland Marriott Convention Center. The event was the debut of the Dancesport Divas and the team performed a fun Cha Cha Cha routine to Debelah Morgan's "Dance With Me" song. Ashanti, Vikki, and Chelsea Nicole were excited to present the San Francisco Salsa community with their brand of Latin dance moves. The team enjoyed the rest of the event by social dancing to live music with other members of dance teams.
